JSS Science and Technology (JSS S& T) University in collaboration with IBM, Innovation Centre for Education is commencing a course on Data Analytics under Centre for Continuing Education, JSS S&T University for the benefit of citizens in and around Mysuru.
The collaboration will enable course participants, to adapt to the dynamics in the industry and drive technology and business innovation. This industry relevant technology course will provide participants with deep theoretical knowledge, coupled with broad-based industry alignment, interaction, talent discoverability as well as excellence in their professional practice.
The specialized course in Data Analytics is offered to students of various disciplines and others, to provide them with the needed skills for higher learning and employment in the industry. The course will include subjects like Business Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Descriptive Analytics and Big Data Analytics.
The courses will be held during weekends at Department of Computer science & Engineering and will be delivered by industry subject matter experts from IBM. The participants will be able to access course material through an online collaborative platform, also have an access to additional industry materials and be part of discussion forums to learn in real-time.
The participants will also be able to work on industry oriented case studies and project works. The participants will receive a certification from JSS S& T University and IBM on successful completion of the course.
Data Analytics will have the following tracks and will be delivered in same order:
- Predictive and Advanced Analytics
- Descriptive Analytics
- Introduction to Business Analytics
- Hadoop and Big Data Analytics
Applicants are informed to register for all the tracks of Data Analytics course. Successfully completed applicants of the all tracks will receive IBM Badage and Certification from JSS S&T University Cost for the complete track is Rs 40,000/-
Applicants are recommended to enrol for all tracks to achieve proficiency in Data Analytics. However, as part of the inaugural offer, enrolment for single track on “Predictive and Advanced Analytics” (Course fee: Rs 10,000) is offered. Candidates successfully completing the course will be provided with certificate from IBM and JSS S&T University.
