It possesses state of the art facilities to cater to the needs of undergraduate students, post graduate students and research scholars. The department has been empowering the students with innovation research and entrepreneurial thoughts. CTM graduates are being well placed in industry, academia and government sectors. It also offers two year M.Tech Program in Infrastructure Engineering and Management since 2018. The unique combination of faculty members with expertise in structural engineering, materials, construction technology and management, building services and good laboratory facilities brings an interdisciplinary research culture in the Department.

Message from HOD
Department of Construction Technology & Management was started in the year 2004 offering B.E. in Construction Technology and Management with an intake of 60.The Department also offers a two years Master of Technology programme in Infrastructure Engineering and Management since 2017. Department also offers Ph.D. and M.Sc.(Engineering) Programs. These programs offers a holistic approach to engineering design, management, decision making and problem solving that leads to more robust and future proof infrastructure assets. These programmes prepares candidates to become effective managers and decision makers familiar with the modern techniques of construction and engineering management.
The Department has well established laboratories in the stream of Civil Engineering, Building services, Transportation Engineering and construction management software’s. The Department is actively involved in conducting GIAN, Workshops, and Guest lectures.
At present the Department has 08 regular faculty and 3 contractual faculty. Three faculty possess Ph.D., degree and remaining are pursuing Ph.D. program.
The department possess well balanced faculty in major specialization of civil engineering, construction management and are actively involved in teaching, research and consultancy activities. The Department also has 4 qualified and experienced supporting staff. About 40% of the students get placed through campus in core and IT related industries. Many of our alumni’s are placed in Government and private sectors. Students also opt for MS and Masters Programs.
