Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), the apex integrity institution of the country which endeavours to promote integrity, transparency and accountability in public life has decided that this year Vigilance Awareness Week would be observed from 27th October, 2020 to 2nd November, 2020 with the theme “Vigilant India Prosperous India”. Encouraged by the response of activities during past years, the Commission this a year has also chosen to accord greater focus on activities such as lectures, panel discussions, debates on moral values, ethics, good governance practices etc. so as to generate healthy debate on the ill effects and prevention of corruption and for ensuring active participation of students of schools/colleges including professional colleges/institutions across the country.
In addition, the Commission has also envisaged a concept of “Integrity Pledge”. As such the Integrity Pledge is available, for enlisting support and commitment of the citizens (Annexure). The online “Integrity Pledge” is available on the CVC’s website https://cvc.gov.in/ or https://pledge.cvc.nic.in/
In view of the above, AICTE request to your institute kindly disseminating and publicizing the “Integrity Pledge” amongst all employees, students, their families’/stakeholders/
